Read recently that a proposal has been agreed politically in Belgium to start applying road tolls for use of motoways and main roads. By the mile for heavy vehicles, not sure how to be collected. Possibly by an annual fee monitored by number plate recognition technology for light (under 3.5 ton) vehicles. Is anyone aware of such a development?
