are French police wonderful ?

HI all

just got hi viz vest x2  and alcohol breathalyser twin pack from the club and i must say brilliant service. i was telling one of my caravan friends what i had brought , he said only two breathalysers he said you need four ? he went on to explain that if the french police stop to breathalyse you they will then fine you because you have only one breathalyser when you need two by law in France , French police brilliant or not ? any one else heard this ?
