Air con units or fans in France?

Hi,

Looking for a bit of advice, stayed last year south of france in a caravan with air con,which was lovely as have 2 small children and they were able to sleep without mozzies etc! going this year in the camper for the first time.  We are having a week in south of france and a a week in  Lake Garda, do you think fans are sufficient for the heat in july/aug ? does anyone have any experience of air con units particularly the' Cool my camper.com' unit??
