Hi,

Anyone have a favourite site in/near Benidorm. Or ones to avoid? I don't mind noise during the day, but not a good sleeper if noisy at night. Planning to visit in May/June with a caravan. Off road cycling around trailing a dog cart would also be an advantage.

Many thanks, Indi.

I have used three sites in and around Benidorm, nearby Camping Cap Blanch, Albir (my favourite) and Camping Almafra on the outskirts of Benidorm with easy walk to the tram startion (tram goes into Alicante) and a bus stop and and easy bike ride to Albir. Lastly Camping Villasol in Benidorm and within walking distance of the sea front. I would use any of them again but Cap Blanch is on the sea front and a short bus ride into Benidorm. I think there was a cycleway along the sea front at Albir and you should certainly be able to cycle into Benidorm but I don't think it would all be off road.

Many thanks Deleted User. I haven't had a chance to check any of the sites yet, but I have booked the ferry for the end of the month. Almafra looks like it ticks all the boxes, so will definitely check it out. Thanks again. Roy
