A couple of times I have recommended an ACSI site for an overnight stop or longer stay near Sennecy-Le-Grand, just South of Chalons and North of Tournus. Camping La Héronnière, Lacs des Laives. It is 8 minutes fom the centre of Sennecy (well signed) and the good news is that when you turn off into the lake leisure area the previously very bumpy road has been resurfaced. This makes access from Sennecy very smooth now, unlike so many sites that suffer from bad roads for the last few kilometres!
