Well Mr Wighty and I are back from our big adventure to the Rhone Alps, when I say the Alps I mean we meandered around going as far as the Ardeche. I just want to say what a great help all the tips and advice was on the overseas forum was. We used the tolls to get part way down, the fun started when we went of toll. The whole trip was brilliant, the French people were very patient and kind when we made errors. The roads great to drive on and the villages lovely. We took ValDa's advice when we saw a fete taking place in a little village and stopped and ate lovely pastries listening to an accordianist and a lovely singer.       We are  now thinking about our September trip, quite fancy the Italian lakes. Would the roads be very busy at that time, we loved the quiet french roads. Thanks again.Smile
