7.60 Euros for 5 litres! Can you beat that?

Today in Le Lavandou we bought 5 litres of white wine for 7.60 euros at Carrefour. It's near impossible to buy anything but Rose here in the Var, but Chas likes his vin blanc. It's very drinkable  but the box of ''Beau Manoir' is of unspecified origin or grape, just  'vin de France'.

It works out at about £1 a litre: if they sold wine at that price at our Co-op in Ruddington, they'd be queing for milesLaughing

Can you beat that price for a drinkable vino, where you are now? ( Has to be drinkable, not battery acid)
