Xmas CL's in West or South Yorkshire

We seek recommendations for suitable CL's in the West or South Yorkshire area that are suitable for a motorhome post Xmas & over New Year [ i.e. must be open all year & have hardstanding & electric].

Hopefully they are close to "wilderness" walks.

Ideally below or just above the M62.

Thanks

A pub serving meals and with Motorhome stopover facilities in their car park  might be suitable? Somewhere like the Craven Arms at Giggleswick near Settle ?   It's  a Motorhome stopover not a CL. And phone to check on facilities and electricity supply if you need them.

Hi Pilgrim Phil. Try Wortley Hall CL, open all year. Check webpage for details, in some lovely countryside, open moorland closeby with some nice walks. It does snow around us down in South Yorks though, but we had none last Winter, just have to cross fingers! Good pubs in area, one in Wortley village is nice!

Just looked at that site as it's very close to my parents and wow what a great site.

Thanks for those responses.

Settle is really too far north & we are in Buckden & Aysgarth in October anyway.

The Wortley Hall suggestion looked great but they don't have availability on New Years Eve & New Years Day - perhaps not such a surprise! We hope to get there next year where the Trans Pennine Trail is a major attraction for us.

The search goes on......

OK. Another Motorhome stop over at a pub instead of a CL  - The Three Merry Lads at Redmires on the western edge of Sheffield - with all the "wilderness walks" you ask for on the door step. Has electrics and is free if you eat at the pub.

I am just picking them from the Search for Sites website which has filters for just about everything you might want. I will bow out now and let you play with it.

Lower Banks Farm, Huby has views to die for. We stayed there last New Year - amazing show of fireworks at midnight! The weather was dry cold & frosty - absolutely beautiful. Would like to be there again this year...

PS - tried to upload a photo that would have you reaching for your phone but it won't work🙁
