Terrible map search facility!

First pick your beach 

You know your area you want to be in, you know where the sea ends and land begins, is it that hard to zoom in and look at the few CL's that appear on the map in the area of interest.

The map is by no means near perfect, but it is manageable without throwing a tizzy. But if it's all too much for you then get the scissors and chop your card in half.

Surely it's easy enough with the paper map and the site directory, as long as you know roughly the area you want visit.

Quite  agree  NTH,  I've  always  treated  this  forward  searching & planning  as  an  integral  part  of  the  Holiday  Experience,  dammit  it's  exactly  what  we  used  to  do  when  I  got  my  first  ex- WD ridge  tent  and  my  A35  van.

I don't understand the problem. Admittedly I've never used the map search or had a reason to. Surely you pick a location first. Then use the CL search by county/town which'll usually reduce things down to maybe a dozen sites. Doesn't seem too difficult to me, and we use a lot of CLs!
