Does it have to be west of Stafford, A? If not, about 15 miles but NE of Stafford, just past Uttoxeter is Fieldhead Farm which is excellent. Huge, level, west(ish) facing pitches, easy access, very friendly owners. Worth a look? Happy

There is one next to the Stafford show ground, Park Farm, that looked pretty good. I would use it next time I am that way.

Park Farm has been recommended by one of the CT regulars, Ian Kelly of Birch Hill CL, so I'd guess that it's good. Don't go to Granary Farm, it was dire when we were there, a few years ago. Another recommendation on CT is The Black Lake Inn, Stone, No 1541 in SD.

Why not try High Onn c.c. site, it has both hard standings and elictric. One of the cheap no frills club sites
