Lynda and Graham Palmer of Gralyn Barn have called to let me know that they still have some availability for the long weekend coming up. Gralyn Barn is located in Spalding in the South Lincolnshire Fens and there is much to see and do around the area. During your stay why not visit the RAF Memorial Flight at Coningsby where historic aircraft include Spitfires, Hurricanes, Dakotas, Lancasters and Chipmunks. Other day trips include the National Trust properties of Belvoir Castle and Gardens and Tattershall Castle which is a splendid 15th Century moated red brick castle. There is a dog walk on site and they can offer cycling directly from the site. This site is Adults only and set in a peaceful and quiet location with electric hook ups. Hello everyone - Ruth Fretwell of The Old Packing Station in Cleckheaton,South Yorkshire has been in touch to let us that know that she has some space for the upcoming bank holiday weekend. The Old Packing Station CL site is situated on a quiet country lane, it is on a lawned farm field with open views of surrounding countryside. There are 3 hard standing pitches and electricity. Dogs are welcome. The CL is within easy reach of Leeds and Bradford. Approx 2 miles away is a country park ideal for dog walkers where there is also an historic hall. Fishing 2.5 miles. Greenway for cyclists and walkers is also easily accessible. Prices are from £9 a night with electrics. Give Ruth a call on 01274 874489 for more information and reservations thanks Sandie

Just a quick note that if anyone is looking for a last minute peaceful getaway - we have a brand new CL (only opened mid-May) that has yet to be discovered by many members...as such we are presently due to be EMPTY over the bank holiday!!
We've had brilliant feedback from our guests to date (unfortunately the Club's website technical issues has meant that reviews are yet to be posted!), so why not get in touch and book a pitch!

We (Kevin and Liz) would like to welcome you to our newly opened CL site at Severn House Farm, Berkeley, Glos. It is tucked away in a peaceful spot adjacent to the River Severn. The bird watching opportunities are superb and fishing from the bank is available with the appropriate licence - see (https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/361607/LIT_10025.pdf).
