Recycling at CLs

Hi

Whenever possible we use CLs and have stayed in many lovely sites all over the UK during the past 15 years we have been caravanning. While most CLs we have stayed on have provided a full range of recycling bins, there have been some that do not. Previously this was never a problem, as the local village/town nearly always had a recycling centre where we could leave recyclables. However, we have noticed in the last 2/3 years that in many areas such recycling centres have been phased out. Presumably some Councils, having introduced kerbside recycling, are now saving money by abolishing their town/village recycling centres. This makes it much more difficult to recycle if the CL does not provide such facilities. It would be good if the Club could put more pressure on all CL owners to provide recycling facilities.

Cheers
