.....with electric hook up.  I'm looking for somewhere in the Peak District that accepts dogs, has decent walks not far from the site and is a short walk from a pub, anyone recommend anywhere?

Looking for a weekend in Mid-May.

Thanks

Hi Gary,

If you click here you can search for a CL site and also select the facilities you require. I am sure some members will respond with specific sites though.

Hope this helps.

It's not a CL, Gary, but in Little Long stone there is a small farm site which we've walked past many times. I'm sure Google will give you details. Little Long stone has The Packhorse, a marvellous traditional village pub - very dog and people friendly, doing good food at reasonable prices and local ales. It is close to Monsal Head which gives easy access to the Monsal Trail footpath and there are any number of walks in the area.

Hope that's helpful.

Edit - it's called Dale Farm, they have a website where you can check availability.

Try Highlow Farm, Bakewell (but near to Monyash). Dogs accepted and 2 pubs not far away, well, within staggering distance anyway.

On the edge of the Peak District, just outside Chesterfield, is Priestfield Grange Fm, Cl with H/S, EHU & toilet. Dog walk on site, a pub 5/10 mins walk up the road and not far by car from Frogget & Curbur Edges and Chatsworth.
