This is our favourite CL. So much so that we've hardly been anywhere else in the last 2 years.

Sheltered, flat and secluded with waste, water and 1 toilet. Plans for 2 electric pitches next year.

Very dog friendly. The wardens have 3 and 2 ponies on site.

Open all year and just £5 a night, no extra charges.

Approx 20 min drive from Keswick and all the lake district has to offer.

The harbour and town centre are both within walking distance and there is a co-op and Asda just a short drive away.

Lots to do locally, car boot sales, cracking fish and chips in Allonby, indoor climbing and caving, aquarium, karting, golf, sea fishing, Roman museum, cake shop and fresh wet fish.

Search Facebook for pictures on their page.

Twenty miles in twenty minutes. Feasible if you don't mind a white knuckle ride with the Stig but, yes, you probably would need a Pagani or something of that ilk.
