My 1st Year - Mead Farm, Somerset - Thank You

We have just passed our 1st year of welcoming our first customer on our CL site.

We've met so many different people from different parts of the UK.  1 cat visitor has stay with us, who did a runner on the first night but thankfully was found and reunited with it's owner.

I've learnt lots about camper vans and caravans, as I have never owned one.

My children have loved meeting everyone and sometimes having a look around their vans, my 4 year old still can't understand where the baths are!

Here's to many more years of meeting and greeting new and hopefully some return customers.

Thank you for all your support to date.

Sandy

That's was a fair comment smile

I knew it was 'non dog' and still wished it every success, although I cannot visit.

Same as I've done Dave. Just a pity that they don't want the likes of ourselves who regularly use CLs with our dog(s).

Sandy, Well I can visit, as regrettably I no longer have a dog!

When do you close for the winter?  I ask because I  currently have my Caravan in for service not too far away, and despite me being very happy indeed with my dealer, bitter experience has always told me always to use my van for a couple of nights at the very least, to get its settings back the way I like them, before the ever looming Winter lay up.

Not yet sure when it will be ready for collection, but it will be soon. How is your ground?  Not too boggy for use I hope.

Best Wishes

TF

Thanks Sandy, i have received your E mail.  My comments remain.  i too love dogs but we must accept the reservations of farmers too.  it is up to responsible dog owners to show that we are in the majority and it is the irresponsible dog owners the have caused this problem.  It is we who need to sort out the bad owners not the farmers etc!

I have no idea who removed your comment but  it seemed a completely unnecessary comment to make in the first place? If you have an issue with the moderation of this forum you are well aware that you need to take this up with the Community Manager direct not question it on the forum.
