Looking for a CL

We are looking for recommendations for a CL to stay at next weekend, about a 100 mile radius from Lymington. Must have hook up and preferably at least a loo.

Please no sarky search comments, have been looking for hours, Internet is slow and getting a bit mind numbing. T

Is rural Somerset too far? We're off to a new one ( to us) later in the week so I might be able to recommend it when we get there and see what it's like. ( Reviews are very good!) Happy

Do you want the Cotswolds, if so what about Burtn Ash Farm, Minchinghampton, under Stroud in the SD, No708.

It would be better if you could give us some idea of which counties you're interested in. 100 ml radius covers a hugh area. You didn't mean a 10ml radius of Lymington did you?

Write your comments here...that would be good. Was considering Somerset or Dorset area.

Well this place might well suit you - close to the county border. I'll post again when we get there - I'm sure it'll be good looking at the reviews but don't like to recommend a place without having actually visited first ourselves. Happy. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

(Or if you want to know earlier you could email me - address in my profile - and you could look up the reviews and decide anyway.)

Thanks for that tip, Nelliethehooker. I'll put that on my list for next year. Happy memories of childhood holidays in Minchinhampton.

There's another Nat Trust CL at the Kingston Lacy property in Dorset thats within close proximity to loads of places.

I take it you don't have your handbook and map anymore? Used in conjunction with a road atlas and NT/EH books, can make life very easy, all you have to do then is pick a few potential CLs and check reviews or ask on here. Happy

Not sure if you're still looking, anothersunrise, but we can recommend Forton House near Chard and just near the Som/Devon/Dorsey border. Very quiet, large pitches well spaced out, lol and shower  - £15 a night. Lots of walking and places to visit nearby! Happy
