I was shocked and embarrassed to see the unwanted items left on a Yorkshire CL for the owner to sort out and dispose of. Perhaps the problem was the bins were placed behind a fence and bed of shrubs and members thought they could hide their rubbish without being seen.

There were two large 12v batteries, broken stacker boxes, a drying rack,an awning and poles,a microwave oven, a childs bike with a broken chain, a cracked caravan step and several cardboard boxes to name just some of what the owner was going to have to remove. The nearest council tip was a round trip of over twenty miles for him.

As club members, I really think we should show more consideration for the CL owners.
