In praise of Cls

I have, over the past decade or so, been to many club sites and Cls.

May I say thank you to all Cl owners (even though I though I may not have visited you) for setting up your excellent sites.

There are times on a club site when you are told that you can't do this, or that, or the other whereas the informality of a Cl allows you to do so (bearing in mind the 6 metre rule.) This make for a more relaxed stay and if the sun is shining, - absolutely perfect. On one or two sites I can even pitch up sideways, backside in or nose in. That sorts out the view for MOH!

Again - well done to all of you.

on a recent 7 site tour, 3 of them were CLs....

although one was in a general location that disappointed, the site (and the other two) were both really nice....simple, uncrowded, tranquil...a mile away from a typical club site...we have a number of 'go to' CLs which we ise most years.

we like most types of site, from full fat (bar, restaurant, pool) super slick, money no object bases, to those being described in this thread.

if they all deliver what you want, when you want it, whats not to like.
