Sadly, our cruise to celebrate hubby’s 50th was cancelled yesterday.   Unable to change our annual leave, we’ve opted to go away in the van.   He fancied East Anglia so booked Fourways CL at Lowestoft for 6 nights, stopping off at Sandringham CMC for 1 night tomorrow.  It will just be a week of chilling and relaxing, but does anyone have any recommendations of places to go in the area.   Thanks in advance.

If it's just relaxing then head down the coast to Southwold, a very pleasant seaside town with a nice pier. Plenty of eating and shopping opportunities. If you feel like a stroll then walk south on the beach area down to the quay where there are numerous cafes, fish and chip shops, a lovely fish restaurant and a pub. It's about 30 minutes from the lighthouse.

Free parking near the water tower, on your right as you enter the town.
