Difficulty in getting to CL details online

Anybody else having problems viewing CL details on line? Every time I and others have tried to access details we get thrown back to the log in screen.

There's definitely something wrong. It keeps sending me back to log in after I try and open details of a site, despite already being logged in!

HQ need to get this sorted quick for CL owners, there will be a few folks looking for destinations now season is warming up. Not good.

The whole website seems very slow and sluggish at times, more so than usual.

I'm getting the same result....very strange!!

However it would appear that the site is closed as shown on Pg 38 of the 2018 supplement.

Vanbirds, did you get any info from HO re Foggieburn? Did you see my post of yesterday that it is recorded as being closed in the 2018 supplement?

I don’t think it’s sorted...

We’re trying to book sites for our Scotland tour and have come across the problem twice. Yesterday I thought the site must have closed and moved on to another (lost booking there). It’s happened again and common sense tells me if the site had closed it wouldn’t be showing up on the system - one would hope! Can’t remember which site I was looking at yesterday but today I’m trying to get details for Foggieburn, Insch, 1955 in the book.

Unfortunately Foggieburn is no longer a CL site, which will be why you are experiencing the issue on the website and being thrown back to the login page. This will happen to any site which is no longer a CL but you have searched for them directly by name. This is an issue we have raised and hoping to get resolved.

This is one of my points I will be raising in the next CL Review meeting to support your requests for the CL Closures to be posted on CT.

For now though, if you are trying to get to a CL's contact details and are thrown back to the login page it is most likely that site is sadly no longer a CL.

Hi Maddie. Can you raise something else at the next meeting. Leaving a review seems to lack functionality, namely you cannot posts website links, or post photos. Not good if anyone does reviews on here, and doesn't help either owners, or members looking for more details and an image of CLs. Thank you.

Yes I will make a note of this, we are looking into ways to encourage reviews on the site so this thread will be really useful on looking at making the process easier from a members point of view.

You have to e-mail HO requesting a copy of the "2018 UK Site Price Guide" and they send a 40 pg printout listing all the new pricing details for club sites, new CL up to end of 2017 and those that have closed, although those lists aren't complete.
