Club site to Club CL?

There is no doubt that as all the experts are saying we are going to have to get used to the seriously wet weather we have experienced in the past 12 months.

It is also true that more people are using their caravans and motor homes more throughout the year, and therefore are seeking places to go and stay. These places will need to provide hard standing – or close.

So why, particularly down here in Devon & Cornwall are most club sites closed for many months of the year and many sites still have no hard standing?

So why is the Caravan Club not being more proactive and looking to the future and considering leaving more sites ‘partially’ open all year, particularly those with hard standing and re define them for that period as CL’s? There has to be options for increased revenue.

‘Don’t give me problems – give me solutions’ has been said by managers many times. I have many of each – but let the debate begin!!

Over to you ladies and gentlemen.
