We're hoping to take my Fell pony away with us next year, so I'm looking for a CL within a couple of hours driving of Lancs/North Yorks/Cumbria border. Ideally a farm with grazing and good hacking nearby, plus ok with our 3 well-behaved dogs, will also need hook-up. Any ideas or recommendations please, thanks!

Have a look at Drake House Farm, near Clitheroe - working farm, not sure if they'd cater for a pony but you can get straight up on to the moors from just above the site. smile

Hi Griffin

We are probably too far away for you - but this is exactly what we offer on our farm in Buckinghamshire.

We are 5 minutes from Junction 5 of the M40 (so easy access) but offer some of the best hacking for miles.  We have 15 different bridleway-routes mapped out. Or we can offer guided rides.

For your pony we can offer a well-fenced grass paddock next to the CL.

Take a look at Cholsey Farm Riding and if you are on facebook take a look at our hundreds of 5 Star reviews!

It might be a long way, but you'd be welcome to stay with your pony and dogs.

Best
