We would like to try Christmas/New Year in our caravan next year and ideally, would like to be near a tube station to London. Is Abbey Wood CC our best bet or are there any CL's that are within easy reach of a station? Recommendations/advice much appreciated. Thank you.

Not sure about Abbey Wood. I have used Wyatts Covert at Denham. Not far from the M25. There is a local railway station into Marylebone just about a mile down the road.

Denham is good, but you do need to use the car to get to the station. Aldborough Hall Farm (CL 643) is a 15/20 min walk from Newbury Park tube station, very convenient, but not the prettiest of CLs and can be wet. There is hardstanding, but a bit squashed in. Hoe Farm, CL1628, is a 5 min walk to Worplesdon station and offered hardstanding. Henlow Lakes Caravan Park (not Caravan Club) is a 2 min walk from the station.Very convenient. But not Caravan Club.
