Children and CL's

Me, the wife and our dog popped off to a CL in the Lincolnshire Wolds for a quiet weekend, the CL is five acres with a small wood and two fishing ponds, gentle slopes and loads of space to get tucked away. When we arrived we found three motor homes parked up in the farthest corner of the site, we went down hill and got sited as far away as possible to be on our own. Then it all kicked off, little Johnny aged about three or four came hurtling down the slope on his little pushbike towards our pitch, came to a halt right next to our van and stood waiting, along comes parent and starts shouting for little Johnny to come back, little Johnny being the bad tempered and ill disciplined little sod that he is started shouting and screaming, this goes on for about ten minutes whilst he reluctantly climbs back up the slope, this episode is repeated over and over again until I’d had enough, up I goes and told them if little Johnny comes down the slope on his little bike once more I’d be chucking the bloody thing in the pond.

The moral of my post is to let parents know I won’t tolerate and let your out of control and bad mannered sproggs spoil my caravanning holiday, they are your sproggs, look after them and teach them some manners.
