Am I right in thinking that Brokerswood Country Park used to have a small section dedicated to the caravan club?  What happened to it,  I thought it was CL style in terms of a 5 van restriction.

Not stayed there, it's just that little bit too close to home! But visited to have a look round, seemed a very pleasant, well run site and great for visiting Lacock, Corsham etc. Happy

catherine, we've stopped at Barrow Farm, Rode, (No.1468 in S.D.) which might suit you. It was fine for us.  You could ask if you could stop late, I guess.

catherine, if you go just take care driving down into the site as the entrance is on a slope. Have you ever read or seen the film series "The Suspicions of Mr Whitcher". The first film, The Murder at Road Hill House, was based on the real-life Constance Kent murder case of 1860, as interpreted by Kate Summerscale in her 2008 book The Suspicions of Mr Whicher or The Murder at Road Hill House. The murder took place in a house just up the road from the site.Surprised
