Hi Everybody

It's not a very nice day outside at Head Office, and it got me thinking about holidays.

Has anyone got any plans to visit CL sites over the upcoming bank holiday? What parts of the country is everyone visiting?

It would be great to hear where you are all planning on going or where you have been this summer and how the trips have gone.laughing

No plans here. We don't set foot outside the door until the madness of the bank holiday is over.undecided

When are they going to give you a 'Staff' banner, Maddie? You need something so people know you're not just a nosey poster. smile

We always head home during the week prior to the Bank holiday weekend. Too many nutters out over that period, being their last time in the van till Easter, which we too avoid like the plague.Plenty other weeks to out on CLs when they be a lot more peaceful.

At the moment in the middle of our summer trip down close to the English /Welsh border, 1 commercial site and 3 CLs so far and 3 Cls and one CC site to go before we get home.

Won't be on a CL over the BH weekend, heading to Hebden Bridge but then back to Derbyshire to Splash Farm, CL, enjoyed it so much in June we're going back! smile

We stopped going away for any bank holidays once we retired as there is just no need to do so. All the roads and car parks are too busy and prices tend to be at their highest.

Splash Farm CL is a good choice - we had a great week there.  A nice CL with lots to see within a few miles.  We have recommended it to lots of our guests.
