Advertising

Perhaps it should be clarified as advertising by Companies or their products is forbidden? I had a post Deleted User simply for pointing out where there was a good deal for over night stays.

It makes little sense to me. Is it just other caravan sites info that is Deleted User?

My brother's website shows the water colour painting he has for sale .... but my link was just to prove that there was another David Bullock .... nowt to do with caravaning

It must have appeared as if you were pushing the sale of the painting, MM, irrespective of your motive. That's a country mile from CL publicity.

maybe if the mod had read my post before hitting the delete button ..... it was obvious I was linking to someone of the same name ..... even so, I can't see the difference, advertising is advertising

Aldi seems to get plenty of advertising on CT. I have even contributed. That must be OK as the thread has never been Deleted User.

I have no idea who Deleted User your post but really this sort of question should be taken up directly with the Community Manager as I am sure you are aware that moderating decisions are not a subject for general discussion. I will therefore close this thread to further posts.
