Acknowledging responses.

Beats me, Nellie. I've responded to two in the last few days with no comeback at all. I'm not seeking thanks but an acknowledgement would be polite and would also let others in the same position know if the fix worked.

I'm tempted to start keeping a list so I don't offer advice a second time to someone who doesn't have the courtesy to respond.

There could be a few reasons why the OP doesn't acknowledge responses , it could be they are away without wifi ,it could be they don't come onto CT as often as some of us ,or it could be they can't be bothered to answer

when I ask for advice I usually make a note of what I have asked and where I have posted it ,so I can keep an eye on any replys
