Having never been on or even seen a CL up close only driven by a few,My brother and i live 7 hours away from each and we often meet somewhere in the middle for a few weekends throughout the year in the vans along with 2 other familes now and again.

Are CLs mainly used by adults without kids and dogs?this if the feeling i get,im asking this because on Normal CC sites its always hard to get pitched near each other. If we were to use Cls then we would be close to each other 5 van rule????,the last thing we want is to disturb the other caravaners but its nice to be together when meeting up.Sometimes we feel on normal CC sites if were having a BBQ and were all pitched apart then 8 people in 2 familys or if its 4 familys then its 16 total is to much for the person next to us.
