There's still lots of space on CLs.

See this link for a newly UPDATED MAP (March 2021) with 215 CLs.

If you are looking for a pitch in the next few months, CLs could be your answer.

The CL Owners group has put together a map showing the availability status (as of this week) at 215 CLs (out of the 2,000). Some find that viewing the map on a PC rather than a smartphone works better.

Each CL is colour-coded for availability (Green=lots, Yellow=some) and you can select which month you are looking for. Also, use the search (Magnifying glass) to find a location or CL by name.

NOTES:

Govt. Guidelines change continually. This map does NOT guarantee a CL will be open.
This is a 'snapshot in time' of availability at the listed CLs at mid March 2021.
The purpose is to give you, the CAMC member, some INDICATION of availability at the listed CLs.
Please BOOK DIRECT and check any details - prices - facilities with the CL Owner.

I can’t get the links to work from the map CG, is this normal? Or do I need to go back into Club website for individual CL pages?

The way I get it to work is select a CL by clicking on it, scan down the details, on the left of the map, and at the bottom select the link to the CL's web page for more details.

I tried Nellie, but couldn’t get it to work. I also tried to copy and paste url, but that didn’t work either. It’s no big deal, I just put CL name into url and open it up that way. It might be IPad issue, not sure.
Just checking out a couple of CLs near Peterborough. One is dearer than Club Site once Vat reduction is applied and wants deposit with no refund if Covid kicks up again, so that’s out. Other is a nice possible, recall looking at this when we considered Peterborough last time. I think Club Site might be best this time, we can do a bit of cycling, want to go to Rutland Cycles, and mid week, Nene CP will be nice.

Can’t understand why the Satellite navigation downloads for the CL’s are running so late at over a year out of date. A good number of new CL’s were added in 2020 and none of them are listed. Last update was January 2020, 15 months ago.

Lyndon Top camp site overlooking Rutland Water is good if you can live without EHU and HS.

Thanks for that CY, looks a nice place. I will add that to the list of Small private Sites I am putting together. We do no hook up tours, and it’s a nice distance from home, easy hour and half down A1.

The reference to Rutland Cycles is a tad misleading, it’s the big bike shop in Nene Valley Park, it’s only a few hundred metres from Ferry Meadows Club Site. But thanks, another nice looking site to consider for cycling👍

tda, I'm using my kindle, and it's worked directly, and also if I copy and paste the url. Strange that it's not working on your i-pad.
