So very sorry to hear such very sad news. I loved Brian's sense of humour. Condolences to his elderly sister and nephew. He will be much missed on CT. Thank you very much for letting us all know as we had been worried that we hadn't heard from him for a few weeks.

I’m glad we know that it wasn’t something we said. With his replies he gave the impression he really knew us and cared about what we were up to.

RIP.

Rest in peace my friend , loved  your banter over the cricket and football. You will be sadly missed. My condolences to your extended family.

Very sad news indeed. I met Brian when he came to stay a couple of times at Godrevy Park back in 2017/18. Had some great conversations about steam engines and classic bikes, always had time for a chat with anyone including the kids who took the mick about his grey beardlaughing. An honour to meet such a real gentleman. RIP Brian.

Thanks to the OP for letting us all know
