Club Rules

In truth the club should forget rules and let the members do what ever they want as they do anyway. I am I heavy user of sites and find that:-

Members speed around with no consideration to others.

Let their dogs roam without a lead.

If on a lead it is more than the length specified.

Let the dogs foul the site even if there is a dog walk. I see them sneaking around with their dogs waiting them to do their "business" no matter if it is a grass pitch that children will occupy next.

Let their children play ball etc near other members outfits and let them irritate others whilst getting a warm glow with beer and wine.

Children going around site at high speed on their bikes even the wrong way round.

Have raucous gathering late into the late evening/ early morning.

The Club should either suspend members breaking the Club rules or relax the rules

Agree to an extent Nav but if the complainant used CT as evidence the years of complaint on the lack of action by wardens may well result in something the club could regret.  It would really be interesting to see what the 'risk assessments' say.smile

It’s strange that this thread was started in stories at the same time as two reviews appeared complaining about wardens enforcing rules.

It goes to show that the wardens can’t please everyone.

I've never seen anything on CT that could be thought of as anywhere near proof that action was not taken. The best it ever gets is anecdotal evidence that a particular individual was unaware of any action.

"Case dismissed. Next!"

+1 OP, any provable negligence is good evidence. You see the S/mkts signs-‘vehicles are left at owners risk’ but if you can prove not enough was done to protect owners property then the S/mkts are responsible.

Then there is the wardens take on the "lack of action"as normally it is via the site comments book when said complaint is made (with of course no name given, a negative site reveiw a letter from HO or as  a complaint on one of the public forumsundecided

I thought I recognised LPC, this is the same poster that raged about inconsiderate dog owners on a Scottish site letting them bark all day. Serial fiction story teller, I think the mods should have left this in stories😛
