Hi all,
I am pretty new to carvan towing so i'm looking for some advice please
Weve just purchased a Coachman vision 580 2018 model and we are aware that we would need to change our car to tow it safely however I am getting a little confused regarding the towing capacity kerb weight.
We are looking to buy a older Mercedes-Benz E Class 3.0 E320 CDI Avantgarde and that should be well within the mtplm of 1512kg of the caravan however i have been reading on other forums of people towing for example with a 2.2 l diesel mercedes a much heavier van of 1675 kg
Could you please shed some light :)
