Tow Car Help

Hi

I am a complete newby to caravaning so sorry if this is a regular question. I have recently purchased a Sprite Musketeer TB 2012 which (depending on which sight you look at) has a MTPLM of 1274 and MIRO 1089. I haven't collected it yet so I can't check the actual van plate. My problem is trying to find a suitable tow car as I don't want a 4x4. It seems everything i look has is not heavy enough or has a low kerb weight, from what i can see the Mondeo Estate seems to be a good one but are not easy to get hold of on a £10k budget.  I want a car that tows well but is also a good general car. We are a family of 3. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
