Tow ball question

Quick question, I've sold my Conway Countryman and looking for a caravan now. The countryman had a 'normal' hitch and was fine hitching up to the towball on my 4x4.

The 'vans' I'm looking at all have AKS hitch heads (think one was an aks 2000). Will I have to change the towball due to possible clearance issues or will the current one do as long as I clean all the grease etc off it?

Just want to make sure as turning up to buy a 'van' to find it won't fit the towball would be a bit akward to say the least.
