Just decided to check out my outfit on the site's system (TV was as usual!). The response was to reject my approach, not check out the system. Anyone else had the same result?

I agree with lornalou1, I could not find my car on the caravan club matching service but at the site above it finds all cars and caravans, also lets you play about with payloads in car and caravan so gives some realistic values.

I input the Ford Kuga PHEV and 2016 Swift Conqueror 480 into the system, according to CMC site it is a good match 1500kg, Ford maximum towing weight 1200kg?.

A friend is getting back into caravanning but wants to make sure his outfit match is OK. Does anyone have any experience of towing with an Citroen Picasso, 2013, 1560cc, 90bhp, diesel, kerb weight 1296kg?

The caravan that he has is an Avondale Dart, 470/2 1120 MTPLM.

On paper and checking the matching service the weight ratio looks OK but he's not sure about the power output of the car.

Thanks in advance for any comments.
