Putting the cart before the horse

Hi there. After many happy years of camping in our beloved Pennine folding camper, we have decided to move up to the comforts of a caravan - promoted by sitting through 50 mph in our camper in recent gales. We have found what we think is our perfect caravan, a Bailey Senator Indiana series 6 (2008) and have purchased this. However, the vehicle we use to tow our Pennine is woefully unsuitable to even consider pulling the caravan so we are now looking to source and buy a good secondhand car that is capable of towing our caravan. And this is where we have hit a brickwall - so many vehicles to consider but when we have entered the details into the caravan/tow matching service, it seems that the huge majority of 2.0 DTi (which in our minds should be just pefect for the job) all seem to fall short of the criteria (usually by the BHP). So, I am wondering if any owners of Indiana's would be willing to provide pointers as to which vehicle make and models we might want to consider, based on towing vehicle experience. I should add that our caravan has a MTP.. of 1500kg. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and pointers.
