Hi All,
We're about to change from a Motorhome to a caravan. As a tow car we are getting a Skoda Superb. We've always had diesel cars but a petrol engined Skoda is approx £2,000 less than a similar diesel engined car, so we're thinking of buying a petrol tow car.
The 2 petrol Superbs we're looking at has either 150bhp or 190bhp both matched to an auto gearbox. Is 150bhp enough to pull a mid sized caravan? We don't want to go to the 190bhp engine if possible because of the extra purchase and running costs. We have asked the dealer but to be honest I don't fully trust any car dealership.
Any advice gratefully received.
