Hello everybody,
Each time I read the towcar road tests in the magazine I become more puzzled as to the somewhat large differences in the fuel consumption figures for Solo and Towing, the most recent ones being for the Skoda Yeti. these figures show a solo figure of 45.2 mpg. and a towing figure of only 28.4. a big drop in consumption of 16.8 mpg.This seems quite excessive to me. When towing, my car only drops by 4 mpg. How about you other caravaners ?
