FOA Skoda Yeti owners

Since I bought a new Skoda Yeti in June, I've had an ongoing problem with the towbar fitting and the subsequent recoding of the car's management system.

It is now nearly sorted out but there is one grey area which is unresolved. If the caravan is hitched up and the car alarm has been armed, I believe that the alarm should sound if an attempt is made to diconnect the electrics. I have read this on the two main Skoda/Yeti forums but he delearship tells me that this is not the case.

Does anyone own a Yeti and, if so, can you tell me what happens with your car? Could you also say where/how/when your towbar was fitted?

We are delighted with the car, both solo and as a tug.

Many thanks.
