CVT for towing

jeep Cherokee with 9 speed cvt and the smoothest drive i've ever been in. brilliant for towing.

 ..... and industry have been getting rid of CVT / rubber band drives over the years in preference of electrickery to vary motor speeds. 

I suppose if the radio is turned up loud enough, it will drown out the hum/whine/ at high revs when floored or under load. I had CVT on my Raleigh Supermatic moped in the 60's

yes but the KL after that has a 9 speed cvt. for you info.

If its a CVT, how does it have 9 speeds? Continuously variable is in the title  ..... unless it was one of the VAG boxes that used electrickery to give the impression of a gear change.
