Hi

I am relatively new to caravanning and have just bought my second caravan, a 2011 Bailey Pegasus Ancona. I have been told by the dealer that I have a 93% weight ratio, which he said was a little higher than recommended but as long as the car and caravan are loaded correctly shouldn't be too much of a problem. Is this correct? It is doubtful if I will load the caravan to its full laiden weight and I generally tend to load clothes/food etc in the car, so should the outfit be relatively stable? Also the van is fitted with both an alko hitch and alko trailer control which I'm guessing will help. My tow car is a 2009 BMW 320d Touring with a towing capacity of 1600kg, the van fully laiden is 1499kg. Any advice would be greatly received.

Thanks

Paul
