Does any one store their caravan on a club site through the winter X can you still access it if the site closes. I was thinking of looking for a site that opens for most of the year . Our biggest reason we don't tow in the winter is weather  and the darker nights / mornings. Yet if it was stored on a site we may take advantage And use it more often .

This question might be better served in the storage section, but reading your post I would suggest a seasonal pitch on a club site. And that depends on how much you wish to spend.

We considered it in winter 2014 whilst at Poolsbrook but a lady had just taken the last seasonal pitch.

During the last winter we have used a CL near to our storage which are only 3 miles apart. Smile

Not sure if you will get in but the conditions do cover sites that are closed. It says access can be arranged by contacting the wardens. I assume that this means those sites still have a warden even when they are shut but if you are considering this I would ring the club to check.

Winter Storage on seasonal club sites are only possible as stated in the Storage section,I would think it would not be possible on other seasonal sites that are without staff available
