Was very interested to read this survey today. Although not much reading was needed thanks to the excellent Infographics used throughout. Clearly a lot of well planned and executed work by the CC on behalf of its members - well done!

The one standout for me is that far too many new vehicle deliveries are made with faults - was it around 20%? I have suffered this myself, and mostly they are manufacturing faults and somehow were missed in the dealers PDI. Caravans are still simple items - and in most cases the faults are simple too. A lot of room for improvement I think!

Or as is known ,some dealers "pdi" is down to the purchaser (which saves dealers money),then when it is returned the "fault" can be claimed as a warranty issue which the dealer can claim against the manufacturer Undecided

I'm glad that somebody liked it. I found it to be a waste of time
