Yet another gas regulator failure!

Well, this will be my third and this one is less than two years old! Took unit off and there is the tell tale yellow oil, not a lot but obviously inside the diaphragm even though the unit is mounted high and has the elbow coupling. Will change again but I'm tempted to clean the old one out to keep as a spare. Will change pigtail too, will there ever be an end to this or does anyone have another solution?
