im thinking I'd like a couple of good quality windbreaks for spring/summer.
i like the look of the Isabella ones but crikey Rhee are expensive.
i know you often get what you pay for but I wonder if anyone could recommend some good ones that are perhaps a bit or lot less expensive?

I got a good one from Sports Direct last year, It's a Gelert 'breeze blocker' and I think there are 3 and 5 metre versions. Unfortunately they aren't showing on the SD website, but I'm guessing they might be a seasonal item?

I seem to think mine was 25 quid, but I'd got a 10 voucher from buying kids trainers the week before, it's certainly been very good vfm at £15!

Does it require guy ropes? We have used a beach one for years but I bought a 'posh looking' one make escapes me at present and not stored at home. Main reason was weight and it folded up really small. Nightmare because of guy ropes, the poles don't go into the ground so have to have guy ropes. Either we are useless at it 😉 quite possible😉 or the thing is useless. Guy ropes get in the way inside where we want to put the chairs and the least breeze topples it. We have reverted to the beach one 😂. Any sensible suggestions welcome.

Your question is can anyone recommend a cheaper one that is as good as Isabella, well this doesn't answer that, but I wanted to say how good our Isabella Flex is.
it has stood up during high winds. It anchors very securely and we don't find the guys a nuisance as we position them on the ends and outside, only adding inside ones if it is very windy.
if you are buying it instead of an awning as we did, it is well worth the money and makes all the difference between being able to sit and eat outside instead of inside.
Makes your pitch nice and private, and stops members cutting through your pitch on the way to the toilet block! You do need to book an awning pitch if you plan to leave a windbreak up overnight in the space an awning would use.
