Hi all. Just thinking of getting a set of wind blockers for fiamma wind out awning.

Are they as good as they say they are? Are they worth the cost and are they easy to put up and down. I seems you can get internal membranes to make into a privacy room. Has anyone got these. Your help as ever would be much appreciated.

Sorry Mr Sambambles only just seen this. We've been abroad for the last 8 weeks.

Yes we have a full set of the windblockers with the internal membranes. Yes they are easy to put up and take down in a jiffy, we hardly ever bother pegging them down fully, just 1 peg under the van edge and then fasten the front corner to the fiamma leg peg. The front one I have sewn a tape half way down the edge so that I can fasten it to the fiamma leg and then lift the bottom edge back up to the front edge of the fiamma and hold in place with a few clothes pegs. This allows you to keep out low out sunshine (abroad) while still able to get a breeze coming in underneath. The privacy screens we don't use, in fact if we were buying now wouldn't bother to have them just the black nets. Having said that we use them more for shade than for wind, if its too windy the fiamma gets wound in. They do cut down the wind by the way, it just that we rarely holiday in the UK in summer so have never found a need for them, we tend to holiday where its hot and sunny most of the time so keeping out a wind is not something you want to do wink

Thank you for your feedback Tammygirl. That's very helpful. I think before we buy we will visit one of the shows and have a look there.

You  might  well  find  them  all  set  up,  certainly  at  N E C,   with  fans  blowing  in  order  to  show  how  efficient  they  are.  The  fans  keep  lifting  my  wig  when  I  pass  their  stand  yell
