Wheel Clamps

Hi all,

Just bought my first motorhome. Can anyone recommend a tough wheel clamp? with pros & cons.

I've read some of the previous threads but there might be a new one on the market since the threads were written.

I understand that a determined thief will find a way around anything, I just want to make it as difficult as possible for them.

Thanks

I can’t recommend a wheel clamp as I'd rather use a steering wheel and/or pedal lock.

One big anti of a wheel clamp is that it will not prevent either front or rear of the van being lifted on a spec lift/dolly so it can be towed away.

If contemplating using a wheel clamp on site, I think you'll find it a pain as it will remove the quick get up and go benefit of a MH. Don't forget too that if you take it with you, it will use part of your payload allowance whereas a steering wheel lock is lighter.

Thanks Tin. I've now bought a steering lock. Can you or anyone else recommend a pedal lock?

Thanks

You're welcome.

I saw something about pedal locks on another forum. I'll see if I can track it down.
