Vacuum Storage Bags - Advice Please

In another thread a member kindly made a useful suggestion about storing bulky bedding in vacuum bags to save space.

I checked these out on Amazon and found a bewildering array of different bags. Some reviewers complained that theirs didn't fit their particular model of vacuum cleaner, others split, others re-inflated very quickly etc., etc.

Anyone any experience or advice, particularly for large single sleeping bag storage? I use a Dyson portable rechargeable vacuum cleaner which is quite powerful, but will it fit most bags?

Advice, including good quality brand names to look out for would be appreciated. I am not particularly price sensitive for a good product.
