Can anyone recommend a brand/model of two way radios (walkie talkies)?  I have three children and it would be useful to have something that is easy to use and fairly robust.  Also, cheap enough to loose. Probably looking for a 4-pack - one for mother eagle and one each for little chicks smile

Thanks.

The Radios you should look for are PMR 446 (446 Mhz) these do not need a licence, they are available on that well know web site for about £25 for 4 x 8 channel handsets they reckon a 3Km range?  I should think these would suit your purpose and pocket well. Don't be tempted to buy some of those dual band Chinese hand held radios as these cover the Amature Radio frequincies and you could upset the local "Hams" not to mention Ofcom.
